Trainee Data Analyst (University Placement Year)

Hours: Full Time or Part Time

Location: Alderley Edge, Cheshire

Join our team as a Trainee Data Analyst and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You’ll play a key role in driving car leasing enquiries by ensuring accurate pricing on our website. This is your chance to get an inside look at how a successful online business operates and to contribute to sales and marketing decisions.

As a Trainee Data Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Obtain accurate pricing information from external sources.
• Analyse and interpret data to provide optimal pricing.
• Update our website with the latest data.
• Collaborate with our Sales and Marketing teams by providing vehicle, promotional and pricing information.
• Keep an eye on the competition by analysing their pricing and benchmarking against the market.

To be a successful Trainee Data Analyst, you should have:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a focus on data or numerical analysis (e.g. math, data science or similar)
• Strong knowledge of Excel and data analysis techniques
• Knowledge of Python and SQL is desirable (not essential)
• Excellent technical and numerical abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
